Our Background

FoodJiva.com was created when its founders ordered dinner from the same old crusty take-out menu one too many times. They went online and desperately searched for new restaurants that would deliver to them. The pickings were slim and FoodJiva was born.

We started FoodJiva.com to provide consumers with an easy way to order restaurant food online for delivery and take-out in the Los Angeles area. We wanted to create a system where consumers could search, order and pay for their meal online - no cash, no hassle and everything at their fingertips. We think that we’ve achieved this with FoodJiva.com.

Our Philosophy

We believe that variety is good. With variety comes discovery, and we think it feels pretty good when you discover something new and tasty. We’re tired of eating that same old dish over and over again and want to encourage our users to try something new. Yes, tried and true is comforting. But discovering something new and great is exhilarating!

We believe that time is precious. We want to help you save time by making eating easy so that you can do those things most important to you—like spending more time with friends and family or focusing on getting that work done.

We believe that people are inherently good. We think that people want to give back to their COMMUNITIES, but need to do so within their means. We want to give you an easy way to help your local community while doing something you would ordinarily do anyway–eat. That’s why FoodJiva.com donates a portion of all net profit to local food banks like the Westside Food Bank.
